ASE Delivers Business Integration

ASE to Automate Legislative Processes
St Thomas, USVI - The Governernment of The U.S. Virgin Islands announced plans to implement a software system that manages the cycles of legislative documents and contracts. With the new system, The 26th Legislature expects to reduce large volumes of paperwork and to increase the availability of public information. Automated Solutions Enterprises of Atlanta, Georgia was awarded the contract in June 2006. The new system was operational by January 2007.

ASE Integrates ERP and Facility Management Processes
Alpharetta, GA - Industriaplex, a premier provider of retail, commercial and industrial infrastructure products and services, asked ASE to implement process integration between SAP Business One and Corrigo Facility Management (FM) Services. The result will be a distributed application in which call center and dispatch services programmatically work in synergy with SAP purchasing and goods receipt functions. This dynamic eliminates the manual complexities required for FM activity to be properly reflected in core financials for visibility and analysis. Additionally, Industriaplex will retain control points for contractor validation and job amount thresholds. The integrated system is expected to go live in March 2006.

ASE Creates Port Efficiencies
St. Thomas, USVI - The US Virgin Islands Port Authority, or VIPA, owns and operates marine, cargo, and passenger terminals throughout the USVI. VIPA asked ASE, an ERP consulting group, to streamline the port authority’s receivables processes. Following analysis, ASE designed and constructed a system that allows VIPA dockmasters to perform data collection at remote sites. Collected data is sent, in near real time, to VIPA’s centralized receivables. After specified billing rules are programmatically applied, invoices are rapidly produced. Stages that required manual intervention were vastly eliminated. ASE was able to reduce VIPA's average collection time by 21 days.

ASE Opens Business One Training Facility
Kennesaw, GA - Automated Solutions Enterprises, a provider of financial and business management software and consulting services, has annouced the opening of a new training facility. The networked based facility will accommodate users of SAP®Business One, an integrated small and mid-market ERP system with interwoven workflow. Each quarter, the ASE class schedule will include a complimentary course for existing clients. President, Ron Sicard, states, "Our objective is to give real-world, hands-on training that directly applies to what they do - training should be meaningful to clients."

26th USVI Legislature Chooses ASE
St. Thomas, USVI - ASE has a served varied government agencies in the U.S. Virgin Islands for the past eleven years. In 2005 ASE was selected for a third time by the USVI Legislature to meet a broad range of business management automation and network infrastructure needs. ASE is also currently supporting other implementations in the USVI such as Port Authority, Economic Development Agency, and AH RIISE.
